Ac-tive stands for Assisted Conception Total In Vitro Environment.

It is a purpose designed incubated ART workstation totally enclosed within an optimised culture environment where all mixing, microscopic examinations, incubations and embryo culture can take place. All steps after ooctye retrieval up to and including catheter loading just before embryo transfer can be done inside the Ac-tive® IVF System resulting in significantly decreased gamete and embryo stress and significantly increased pregnancy rates.
