Hypoxic Workstation

The Ruskinn Invivo2 400 has been designed to meet the changing needs of medical researchers.

With a spacious 500 plate working capacity, the Invivo2 400 allows the transfer of samples and access to the environment without affecting stability. For researchers trying to study hypoxia the Invivo2 400 provides a precise oxygen control system in 0.1 % increments, via the gas mixing system, with the benefit that cells are not stressed by the environment fluctuations caused by opening the door on more conventional three-gas incubation systems.

The Gas Mixing System provides accurate control over O2 (0.1% - 20% in 0.1% increments), CO2 indication (0% - 12% in 1% increments) and H2 (0% - 10% in 1% increments) components of the mix with integral oxygen sensor and calibration port.

Our experience shows that once a research centre invests in a Ruskinn Invivo2 workstation many different scientists use the system for all aspects of cell research. For that reason we have equipped the Invivo2 400 with an optional removable front to allow access for equipment and cleaning between different experiments. The interlock on the Invivo2 400 is larger and consequently gives greater flexibility to larger more diverse research facilities.
